Not an intuition so much as a project. Nine children, bearing candles, are pictured standing at the entrance to the Casale Monferrato synagogue. A central, female figure provides the genesis of hope that lights all of the others, where the light is itself the expressive medium that permits the creation of the photographic image. A site-specific project as a means of making art and of “ lighting the way”.
