Ceramica Gatti, Faenza
The work consists of a truncated cone-shaped ceramic structure without a base. The external surfaces open and have niches that hold the nine primitive-style oil lamps. The surface is decorated with simple drawings and engraved with Hebrew symbols and numbers. Working up from the bottom, the nine openings are arranged at regular intervals for the entire height of the structure. The uppermost niche is glazed with gold metal oxides and houses the shamash.
