The design of the nine modular prisms, modular and composable, is often used by the artist in her collages. Each prism supports a light, plus the shamash, which has a golden candleholder with bronze and silver shades, while candleholders are black. They consist of cross- or star-shaped elements, potentially intersecting. The prisms were laser cut. They were subsequently covered with canvas treated for painting, and then painted with black acrylic.
