Plexiglas, tissue paper, handmade paper and gold foil
The work, in the shape of a modern Plexiglas candelabrum, consists of a thin pedestal with eight rigid arms branching out in different directions into space. The arms have different lengths. At the end of each arm is a small transparent plate on which the artists have placed eight red lights as an explicit reference to the element of fire. These are decorated with tissue paper, handmade paper and gold foil. The ninth light, the shamash, is arranged at the centre, on the main column.
