Assembly of various containers in plastic and terracotta
The artist has designed the lamp to resemble a flowering plant. From the terracotta pot nine thin green plastic tubes, joined together at the base, extend upwards and then separate, spreading out to define the eight branches of the candelabrum. At the end of each branch there is a red flower, which holds the candle. The central stem, which is longer than the others, represents the shamash. The artist has placed some irregular-shaped green plastic leaves on the stems, to more clearly symbolise the presence of real foliage on the plant.
