Ceramic pottery, coloured and glazed clay
Laboratorio Terra e Fuoco di Roggero, Ottiglio

The arched base is made of neutral-coloured glazed clay. It is covered with a rectangle with nine horizontal stripes, each of which is a different colour, bringing to mind the colours of the rainbow and the peace flag. Terracotta columns inserted into each stripe represent the arms of the hanukkiah. The eight arms feature coloured horizontal stripes and run from one corner of the structure to the other. The shamash is the column furthest to the right. It is easily recognisable because it is enriched with gold stripes.
