White marble
The lower part of the candelabrum is decorated with a relief design of plants, flowers and leaves. On the upper part, at the base of the central arm and the two arms on either side, is a relief depicting two birds looking in opposite directions. The ends of the arms, which are not decorated, are completely smooth and polished. A small hole has been drilled into the tip of each arm to hold the candles. The central arm, which is a few centimetres taller than the others and further apart, represents the shamash.
