Natural and painted wood
This work resembles a traditional candelabrum that has been taken apart. Vaguely semi-circular in shape, the curved portion rests on the thin, natural wood base. This supports the main, central structure, made of painted wood and featuring grooves and deep incisions that form swirls and small circles starting from the nine candle sockets at the top of the lamp. The candle holders are arranged at different heights, starting from the outside and becoming lower towards the middle. The ninth light, the shamash, is placed at the centre and is easily recognisable because it is the lowest.
