Olive wood, red Verona granite and bras
The lamp consists of a pedestal in red Verona granite with uneven edges that supports a trunk made of olive wood. The sinuous base of the trunk rests on the stone, almost taking root in it. Eight branches made of olive wood extend outwards from the top of the trunk, each designed to hold a light. The ninth light, the shamash, is represented by a bundle of brass tubes placed centrally, at the point from where the wooden arms branch out.
