The work consists of light-diffusing glass in which the artist performed a preliminary fusion of glass powder, then arranged the coloured glass in the shape of a candelabrum and then performed a second and final fusion process. The prevailing colours are blue for the lamp, with different shades of yellow and red for the luminescent parts. A fluorescent lamp is fitted to the base of the frame, at the back.
