Il Cortile dei Gentili
34 x 34 x 6,5 cm
Wood, plywood, and plexiglas
The chromoplastic design, combined with the visual impact and geometric rigor typical of the artist’s typical style, expresses the intrinsic meaning of this Holiday. At the center, some elements symbolize the Will to Survive and the supremacy of Light over Darkness. On the right, the eight yellow segments are the Hanukkah lights; on the left, in blue, detached from the others, stands the shamash.
