Acrylic colours, oil and gold leaf on board and crystal
The hanukkiah consists of a base on which stands a vertical scenography. The base of the hanukkiah represents the earth and consists of superimposed elements painted in warm-coloured oil paints. The square is inscribed with a circle on which there is a square, then another circle on which eight lights rest along the outer edge, while the shamash is at the center. Vertically placed on the base-earth, a shaped sheet made of crystal, painted with acrylics, represents the sky. At its center, the sun made with gold leaf overlooks the writing אור יהי (let there be light), the first verse of Genesis.
