This ceramic artwork transforms the Chanukkah candelabra into a painful memory of the Shoah. The glazed refractory white raku clay becomes the fence of a labor camp, while the “third firing” decorations in platinum and gold create an impenetrable barbed wire and the six-pointed star symbol of Israel.
