Thanks to the untiring efforts of the members of the only two Jewish families living in Casale Monferrato, the synagogue and the Jewish Museum of which it is the heart is today one of the jewels not only of Monferrato but also of Judaism in Italy and Europe, if not in the world. The Museum, the most visited cultural center in the province of Alessandria, offers a rich calendar of public events and includes four different exhibits that can be seen permanently: the Synagogue, the Museum of Jewish Art and Ancient History (also known as the Silver Museum), the Museum of Lights and the Archives.
This website is the first gateway to discover the Jewish Community of Casale Monferrato, the Jewish Museums, and the Fondazione Casale Ebraica ETS that manages it. It is also a valuable tool to learn more about Jewish culture and to organize one’s visit better, keeping up to date with the many initiatives and activities.
